Manu Rainforest Tour 3 days

Day 01: CUSCO – CLOUD FOREST – PILLCOPATA

We Leave from Cusco very early in the morning in our comfortable bus. Ascending to the high mountain area of Paucartambo. On the way we will visit the funeral towers or chullpas of Ninamarca.  The bus  then descents through the mysterious cloud forest full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. Stopping to give you an opportunity walk in deferent points to see like quetzals, snakes, monkeys and the  witness Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruvian) in  mating ritual. There are also possibilities to observe the Amazonian Umbrella bird (Cephalopteros Ornatus), Trogons (Trogon sp.) and  more. And  With luck the only South American bear, the Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos ornatus). In the afternoon we arrive to   pillcopata village,   where we have our  typical lodge. Showers and toilets available.  OPCIONAL CANOPY WALK WAY.

Day 02: PILLCOPATA – AMAZON LODGE – MACHUHUASI LAKE

After a delicious breakfast  We continue by bus for aprox. 1:40 hours on the way we are going to visit animal rescue center and coca plantations also  we have a  nice options to see  the wild life along the road where we will see like great potoos on the trees.   then we arrive to Atalaya Port where we take our motor boat by the river Alto Madre De Dios until our lodge, during that time also  we have chance to go for swim and to go for fishing in the river .    After half day we will go to explore one of the great oxbow lake of  Machuhuasi , where we will go up in  balsa rafts   for 3 hours approximately Where you can see other species of bird   like hoatzin, herons,  oropendolas, caciques parrots, toucans and mammals like capybaras , monkeys . also we have a night walk.   OPCIONAL CANOPY ZIPLINE / FLYING FOX  ,  Night in Lodge Showers and toilets available

DAY  03 : AMAZON LODGE – PARROTS CLAY LICK – ATALAYA – CUSCO

Very early  in the morning we will  go by boat until  the Parrots clay lick for  see  parrots, parakeets and small macaws,  after to see the meeting  of the parrots,  we will have our delicious breakfast close there.  Unfortunately, we have to come back by boat until the Atalaya  port and   then we will take Our   Bus  for  back  to Cusco. Arrival time 6.00pm aprox.
